USA Entry Regulations
Visitors from the UK may enter the USA via the Visa Waiver Program, provided they have a machine-readable passport (issued up to 26 October 2006) or a machine-readable passport with integrated circuit chip (passports issued after 26 October 2006).  Visitors whose passports do not meet these requirements will need to obtain a visa to travel to the USA.

Visa Waiver Program & ESTA (Electronic System For Travel Authorisation)
Passports issued on or after October 26, 2006 must include an integrated circuit chip capable of storing biographic information from the data page, a digitized photograph and other biometric information.  For travel on or after 12 January 2009, travellers intending to enter the USA under the Visa Waiver Program will be required to obtain authorisation through ESTA (Electronic System For Travel Authorization) prior to boarding a US-bound aircraft - each person, regardless of age, is required to obtain independent ESTA approval.  ESTA approval is NOT a visa & does NOT guarantee admission to the USA - it is simply an approval for a traveller to board a US-bound aircraft & upon arrival, immigration is subject to normal terms & conditions.

Visas
Visa and security requirements are subject to frequent and sudden change. It is therefore important that the travelling public check the Embassy's public information regularly and well in advance of their planned travel date.

Aircraft Hand Luggage
One item of cabin baggage is permitted, the dimensions of which must not exceed a maximum length of 56cm, width of 45cm & depth of 25cm.  Liquids, including gels and pastes, must be held in individual containers not exceeding 100ml (approximately 3.5 fl. oz). The definition of liquids includes shampoo, creams, hair gel, hair spray, suntan lotions, toothpaste, liquid or aerosol deodorants, perfumes, cosmetics such as mascara and lip gloss, water and other drinks, soups and syrups, and other items of a similar consistency. All liquid containers must be carried in a separate clear plastic, zip-top or re-sealable bag that does not exceed 20cm x 20cm (eight inches x eight inches) or equivalent to one litre capacity.  Items must fit in the bag comfortably and the bag must be completely closed. At security search, the plastic bag must be removed from the cabin bag and x-ray screened separately.

Airline Baggage Allowance
Most airlines to the USA provide a baggage allownce based on the number of bags you are allowed to take and also impose a weight restriction of 23KG per bag.  Any baggage item in excess of the maximum 23 kgs, will be subject to re-packing or refusal of carriage and applicable excess baggage charges may be levied.  The baggage allowance for your flights will be shown on your e-ticket receipts which you will receive about 10 days prior to departure.

The Government's Health & Safety Executive Body have stipulated that ALL airlines flying into and out of the UK from the US can no longer load bags weighing more than 32kgs onto an aircraft.

Villa Descriptions/Ratings Policy
Since there is no official Worldwide classification system, we have devised our own grading system to assist you in selecting the right Villa.  The diamond classification system represents Orlando Villa Vacations assessment of each villa that, in our opinion, reflects the facilities, service, location and overall standard of accommodation offered by each property.

Diamonds:

 Superior villa offering high quality accommodation and a good range of facilities including a private swimming pool.

 Deluxe villa offering luxurious accommodation and a full range of facilities including a private swimming pool with spa.

 Deluxe villa offering luxurious accommodation and a full range of facilities including a private swimming pool with spa and a games room.

Apartments & townhomes are graded according to room size and furnishings.  Generally apartments & townhomes do not have a private swimming pool or games room.

E-Tickets
E-ticketing is now mandatory for all UK to USA carriers as it is an efficient & paperless way of providing travel documentation (which previously could have been lost or stolen).  With your travel documents, rather than a flight ticket, you will receive an e-ticket receipt.  This will detail your flight itinerary & your e-ticket number.  Simply present this & your passport/visa when checking in for your flights.  Your flight is booked in the normal way, but a paper ticket is no longer printed. Instead, your travel arrangements are stored in the airline's reservation system and we issue you with an E-Ticket itinerary.

Security
A secure server protects all the information you give us. We secure the information by encrypting it, using the secure server software SSL (Secure Socket Layers). We do this by scrambling your details using a mathematical formula known as a 'key'. Once the information has arrived on our server, as the 'keyholder', we are the only people who can unlock or de-encrypt your information. You can tell our site is secure as a small locked padlock will appear in the bottom right of your browser to show that you can safely send credit card details through our site. We also have a Firewall (security software) in place to protect all information from being accessed from the Internet.
